Japan Uncovered is now six months old!
And I have some important news to share
It has been six months since I started writing on Substack. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your warm support. I am delighted to have gained so many wonderful subscribers - more than 1,500 - so quickly.
Today, I have an important announcement to make.
The monthly subscription fee will increase from June
On 1 June, I will increase the monthly subscription fee for Japan Uncovered from $5 to $7. The annual subscription fee will remain at $50.
Therefore, I recommend my monthly subscribers switch to an annual subscription if you'd like to save money. To encourage this, I'm offering a 20% discount, valid until the end of May. Please simply click the button below from your PC/tablet/iPhone. This special discount is available to everyone including free subscribers.
This change is because I have published nearly 30 Posts so far (see the archive here), and monthly subscribers can access all of them at once. Yes, even at $7, it's still a great deal! I have poured decades of experience and knowledge into these articles.
Living in an area with low prices? Your subscription fee can be lowered
At the same time, I know these subscription fees may feel very high in some countries. Therefore, depending on where you live, I am willing to offer significant discounts. Please send me a message to discuss this. I won't make it free, but I am happy to lower it to the reasonable price.
About Founding Members
There is also a Founding Member option with an annual subscription fee of $100. This is for those generous to support me further or have specific requests.
Specifically, Founding Members can request tasks that I can complete within an hour once a year. For example, I can provide tips for travelling/living in Japan, translations, or recommendations for Japanese books or films tailored to your preferences. I also know a lot about London, where I've lived for 10 years!
